Overview

Thank God It’s Friday! A relief for those who aspire to start their own venture and do something extraordinary! A weekend is all they need to turn their idea into a potential startup and even get funded.

Whether you’re an innovator or investor-this is the right event for you to showcase your abilities.

This event gives innovators the opportunity to bring forward their startup ideas and test their entrepreneurial skills. Also participants interested in investing will be given virtual money to invest in the startup of their choice.

Exciting prizes to be won by the Best Startup and the Best Investor!

Rules

· Team (both investor and startup) size may consist of a minimum of 1 member and a maximum of 3 members.

· An individual may be part of more than one team.

· More than one plan may be submitted by a startup team, but a separate registration is required for each startup plan submitted.

· Startup teams will be required to submit their startup idea in a provided format.

· Startup teams shortlisted for the final round will be rated by our VC panel; the team getting the highest rating will win the best startup prize.

· In the 2nd part of the event, the ideas of the shortlisted startups will be displayed in front of virtual investors. The investor teams would be given virtual money of 25 lacs which they would be investing in 3 of the displayed startups. The minimum investment size is 5 lacs. The investor team, who invests the most in the best startup as rated by the VC panel, will win the best investor prize.

· Plagiarism will not be tolerated at any cost. Such entries will not be considered and the decision of the judging panel and Entrepreneurship Cell will be final in this regard.

Eligibilty

· Students and professionals from all over the world are eligible to participate in an event.

· An individual can be a member of both the category of teams - the startup as well as the  investing team.

· An individual is eligible to participate in more than one team of same or different categories.

· A startup team is eligible to submit more than one plan, but a separate registration is required for each plan submitted.

Evaluation Process

The event will comprise of two parts- startup plan and investment.

The startup ideas will be evaluated by the VC panel based on their innovation and feasibility. The team that gets the highest rating by the VC panel will get the Best Startup Prize.

The investor team who invests the most in the best startup as rated by the VC panel, will win the Best Investor Prize.
